View Full Version : Where to get replacement interior panels?

I noticed that two of the four screws that mount the panels under the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink on my 19RBS do not actually screw into anything. Whoever mounted the panels did a crap job and the screws completely miss the wood they should sink into.

Simply moving the screws would result in exposed holes in the panel, which I do NOT want.

So, where can I get new panels to replace the ones I have? The interior is the knotty pine version of my Vintage Cruiser 19RBS.

Thanks.

I personally would not replace the panels. I would figure out where the screws properly go, then I'd make it look like a double row on each of the two panels. Otherwise, I would ask the dealer if they have any suggestions where to get two pieces.

Easier/ Faster would be to SUPERGLUE (GEL for vertical) in some small wood pieces for the screws to go into? Done in minutes?

Yeah, my VC 23RSS has more holes filled with shiskkabob skewers and Titebond than those that don't. Someone needs to educate these kids on how to install self drilling screws. First lesson. Don't use the half inch air drill to install screws.
