Calling for possible hail this afternoon, and I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a DIY solution to protect your roof vents and skylight from hail damage.
I'm toying with the idea of two or three layers of that silver R21 insulation. cut to size, it can easily be shaped and held together with duct tape. It weighs practically nothing and could easily be stored under the bed when not needed.
I dunno...just brainstormin' here. Any suggestions?
