I recently bought a 2019 Vintage Cruiser 19ERD with Chinese tires. I replaced them with Good Year Endurance tires. The Good Year tires say inflate to 65psi. The sticker on the camper says inflate to 75psi. Which is correct?

We have a 2018 19BFD with endurance tires and inflate to 65 psi forget about the sticker on the camper and go by recommended pressure on your tires.

Never exceed the maximum cold inflation psi printed on the tire. As long as your tires are rated to carry the weight of the trailer at 65 psi (also printed on the the tires), then you are good to go at 65 psi. A quick look at the specs online seems like if you load your trailer to its max, your tires would be close to their max, so I'd recommend running them at 65 psi and checking it often.

You have the wrong load range tire on your trailer. You replaced Load Range E tires with Load Range D tires. Why did you move downward in load range which increases your chances of a tire blowout significantly, especially if you are not careful to keep the new tires inflated to the maximum printed on the tire? What was your reasoning?

The Good Year Endurance 14" tires only come in load range D. Max load 2040lbs. We don't intend to carry more than 3600lbs on the tires and have carefully weighed everything going into the trailer. Right now, everything including 10 gallons of water comes to 3500lbs.

There was a recall on some Gulfstream trailers for having an improper load sticker. Remember the GVWR of your trailer includes the 10% tongue weight. So if your GVWR is 4,000 pounds your trailer axle(s) and tires may only be rated for 3,600 pounds. My VC 23RSS has tandem 2,800# axles and a GVWR of 6,080. Run those tires at max pressure if you aren't concerned about the slightly harsher ride. Lower pressure in the tires causes sidewall flex which causes heat which promotes tire failure.

I'm glad that you are very aware of your weight restrictions! I wonder what the weight rating of your axle is.

My recommendation it to have your rig weighed at a CAT scale. Unless you have a certified weight everything you add weighed or not is rather moot.

Our Vista Cruiser 19BFD is heaviest of the 19 foot Vista Cruiser's and it has a 4,000 lb. axle and has a 480 pound tongue weight. We have the Endurance tires and we are able to easily stay within the weight limit of the tires. I am thinking the 19ERD would have no problem fully loaded staying below the weight limit of the Endurance tires. Last Winter we spent about seven weeks in our camper my wife and I with two dogs and a cat we carried a lot of cargo and still stayed below our weight limit.

I would follow the tires. Trailer manufacturer has no idea which tires you now have on your rig. We have a 19erd with same tires and have them set to 65 psi. We have about 5000 miles on them with no issues.

Sounds like, to me, = WRONG TIRES? Tires do not have sidewall Inflation LABEL, THEY HAVE A MAXIMUM INFLATION PRESSURE LABEL. Without looking at chart, (round numbers), 10-PSI LESS PRESSURE= 250# LESS CAPACITY per tire or 500# for a trailer axle, (or 1000# for dual axle)? WHAT ELSE DOES TRAILER LABEL SAYS, re: tire size. I see 19ERD is SINGLE AXLE?

The Endurance ST225/75R15 are max 80-psi; Sounds like you need 15-inch rims and tires; Yes, the 14" are 65-PSI MAX, but

Since my first pre purchase inspection I noticed the tire loading sticker didn't agree with other load stickers on my 21 23RSS. I just sort of blew it off since I knew my trailer axle, tire and GVWR. Today I took a closer look at why the tire loading sticker said 990 # and my payload before water is 1882. Even though the tire sticker has tandem axles and the correct tire size it has the VIN for a 19ERD. Photo sent to Gulfstream to see if they can explain it.
