TV's don't receive same channels

I know there has to be a logical answer to this but it escapes me. Our bedroom TV and Living room TV will not get the same channels from the bat wing air antenna. Why?

Do you have both TV's set up for antenna/air signal in the menu operation?

This will happen when TV is set for cable.

That solved one problem but did nothing for it dropping a channel on one of the TV's. If you turn on TV to say ch 6 it will come on for a couple of seconds then drop the channel to snow.
