I have seen this with a number of motor homes. I have a set of seat covers that help and I always place those cheep silver sunshades in all my windows between the glass and the shade and windshield. They protects the pull-down shades and the seats. I updated my seats this year it wasn't that expensive. I even added the swivel. Shop4seats.com but there are other places.
