I have founded and run some very busy community forums on the web. I know how spam can ruin a site, even a small one like this, so it should is handled quickly. Sad to say this is not the case...

Well I purchased the Accu-Slide cable replacement kit, actually got two one for a backup, and went about the install.
It was not hard at all really as I had access to the end of the cable outside...

Gulf stream sent me back a note and said the cable repair kit is part number 49O213. I wonder if that is the GS part number.

In our case, a Saturn Outlook, it is not so much battery drain,which is a part, but also that bigger fact that without pulling a fuse it adds to the mileage of the Outlook as we tow it.

You may care to check out the AutoFuse by TowDaddy if you just need to pull a fuse vs killing the power lead. It is automatic when you hook into your tow lighting from your coach.

Ray...I do not think the 12v system has circuit breakers like that. Normally a fused system or a self resetting fuse/breaker. (Though not usually on 12v lighting.) These are usually a car type fuse...
