Sounds like itís time to replace the batteries. If you measured under a volt, they are beyond dead. When you start the engine, youíre reading alternator voltage, not the battery.

The house batteries can be charged from shore power or from the engine alternator. Is yours failing to charge from either source or just one. Charge voltage should read 13 volts or a little higher....
