2000 SunVoyager towing question

I have a 35' 2000 SunVoyager with a GCWR of 24,000 and a GVWR of 20,500 can I tow a 2003 Ford Explorer 2 wheel drive Sports Trac that weighs approx 5500 lbs on an 18' 2 axle trailer.

I have a GS and want to take there factory tour in 2008, can you buy or order a new one from the factory and save money or do you have to buy from a dealer.

We bought our first R V, it is a 2000 35' Gulfstream Sun Voyager. We bought it at Lazy's Days in Fl. drove it to Thousand Trails in Va. then to Thousand Trails in PA. then home to upstate New York....
