Couple of different options, depending on your handiness quotient.

1. Fabricate your own gaskets fromstrips of rubber matting and a good adhesive.

Ok - gotta a picture - *now* can someone explain these?

If you go to this site, you can see a pic of the switches. You don't *have* to join the group to see it, as I put it as the homepage pic.

Created new site for my 91 GS Sun Voyager

Since we don't have photo space on this forum, and to provide documentation for the changes I have made, as well as reference photos for other folks who might want to rebuilt one, I've created a...

Bypassing the ATS switch

Did this on my 91 Sun Voyager and it worked just fine. Bought a plastic mounting box and a 30 amp connector, and added about 8' orange colored romex (so that its easy to see) from the generator lines...

Ok - does anybody have any owners manual reference for the 91 Sun Voyager that explains what all of the little green and black rocker switches are supposed to control?

Went to test out the running...

Lights shorting

Check and see if there is water getting into the housing, if so think about having the lights greased (dielectric tuneup grease - any car parts place can get it) on the bases (DO NOT GET GREASE ON...

Update

Yup. It was the ATS. I cobbled together a temporary fix by taking the wiring that comes off of the 6.5 onboard, and running it to a 30 amp connector in the electric cable bay.

When I want shore...

Easy way to check if the electronics are bad or its battery

Can you hook up to shore power or spin up the onboard genny? I'm in the process of troubleshooting my furnace, and I get the spin-up on the fan, but not getting ignition either. My house batteries...

Shore power wasn't working

For the records. Symptoms - shore power cable connected, no juice. Checked mechanical connections and replaced end with new plug in case of corrosion. No dice. Found power center underneath bed,...

Shiny nut covers

Wow, that almost sounds obscene. :)

Check Camping World as well. Just was there last weekend, and they had the covers, and the little forcep looking tool to yank them off without crushing them as...

You may want to search for this other UK member

I've been in communication with Rikk Mallory on this board, and he's also searching for parts. Dunno how close in the UK he is, but I would suspect it might be handy to get in touch and see if he's...

Parking brake

Drove it down to my house this last...

Ebrake and A/C

I'll have to verify, but thought the ebrake on my rig was automatic when you put the selector in park. I've got a 91 Sun Voyager also on the JD/Oshkosh chassis, but I've only just bought it, and...

Note on replacing outside electrics

Not as big a deal out here in the dusty SW, but you folks that live where that mysterious water from the sky thing happens may want to invest in a tube of "dielectric tune-up grease" for marker...

Re: Class A with Twin Beds

Haven't seen that in a class A coach in quite a while, though I saw a lot of 70's - 80's vintage ones that had them. Also common in 5th wheels and TT's up through the 90's. I would think if it was...

Weight and measurements

Looks like you have lbs, rather than kilos. Found my slip, and it lists 18000 as well, and in the USA in 1991, only a import vehicle would have metric measurements. I've got a picture of the my slip...

Re: GULF STREAM SUN VOYAGER 1992

I've got a 1991. I'll check the tag and see if its specifies. If it was made for export, I would think they would use the kgs, but if it was gray-market, it could be lbs.

Trying to imagine how...
