I don't have an experience about outside shower but i think there must be a breakage in the pipe or you should check the shower screws.

I think there should be manual adjusters underneath the slide. If you can't adjust then ask from the professionals. They can help you and tell you the best solution for it.

Try to fix that crack with some fixers or if not possible then consult with a professional plumber. Only he can help you.
