I believe our 04 Endura - 8.1 DOES in fact hold 80 Gal of Gasoline. I put almost 75 in it once - fortuately I was close to fuel at all times. I usually don't put in more than 50 at a stop. We drove from Phoenix to Jackson, MS, to Mobile, AL, and home - got about 7.7 MPG. This was towing our 2001 Nissan Frontier.
