I had alot of little problems with my 2008 8356, the usual things that get overlooked and a few more. Because this unit was built on an older (2006 made) chassis in 2007 it sat for quite awhile. This rig runs on regular diesel and has the pre-epa compliant 330 hp 950 ft lb Cummins BIG BLOCK diesel. It drives like a dream, tows anything up to 10,000 lbs and climbs hills like they are not there. I avg 9 mpg and have gotten amost 15 one time running 55 on the flatland with a tailwind ! It has all the equipment of the newer chassis including HDTV's, Central Vacuum System, Power auto close(wind) awning, Corian Kitchen, Micro/Convection and 3 camera security system.
ANYWAY, GULFSTREAM WILLINGLY TOOK IT BACK TO THE FACTORY AND FIXED EVERYTHING ON MY LIST ! THEY HAVE GOOD PEOPLE WORKING IN MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATION WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU BUY A NEW MOTORHOME AND YOU DON'T THINK IT IS UP TO THEIR QUALITY STANDARD. THAT IS PERFORMANCE PLUS !!
