Default Solar Installation

I decided on Renogy’s Premium 200W kit with MPPT controller. I’m still buttoning up the installation, the weather turned but everything is running.

The panels are 100W Premium Monocrystalline, the 20A MPPT Controller is Bluetooth compatible and able to handle up to 400W or 2 more panels. I’m running dual 6V Duracell batteries. I used a hole saw to cut through the roof, and used butyl tape under weatherproof cable cover. I’m going to secure the cables on the roof with Eternalbond tape when the weather dries.

The Controller has to be powered up BEFORE hooking up the panels and disconnected from the panels before disconnecting the batteries. I opted to add switches for the panels and the batteries to make that process easier.
