If you start it before you take off down the road it usually will work. But the wind can mess with the flame while driving and sometimes they will cut off and then try and restart over and over without success. They have to have a nice blue flame and the wind can cause most flame sensors to shut them off. I also noticed doing that - that the blower can eat up battery juice faster than the alternator can recharge the batteries....and some coaches don't charge the batteries off the alternator. S
