I have a 2006 BT Cruiser, just purchased it this year, we were on the way to the mountains of NC and we broke down around Burlington. We were towed to an automotive shop and they checked out everything and determined it to be the computer. They looked for a replacement and the Ford company stated the computer has been on back order for a long time. Couldn't get an after-market, the mechanic ended up sending my computer to be repaired. As of today I still don't have my motorhome repaired, should be any day now. This to everyone as info.
