I replied to your earlier PM to me, but will add some discussion here as this thread allows me to post a diagram.
The 140-1179 controller does not operate the slide room rams, just the leveling rams. The slide room switches are wired in parallel with the controller's demand for the pump to run, so EITHER the leveling or the slide room switches can turn the pump on . Note that the pump runs one direction for extend and another for retract...see the green and blue wire details in the attached diagram.
The second attachment is the full document from the hydraulic system manufacturer which you might find useful for system diagnostics, etc.
