The Dri-z-Air types work well for small spaces like cupboards or closets but are not sufficient for any length of time in an area as big as a motorhome in the PNW

I would use one with a drain hose (or modify the tank style to accept a hose), and set it in the bathtub/shower for the winter. We used a tank-type dehumidifier in Wisconsin summers, and it seems like it was always overflowing because I'd forget to empty it, leading to putting all that moisture back in the air.
