Default Re: Fan clutch conversion

I did this conversion last year before I sold my supernova. I had the international dealer in Yakima WA do the work and it cost me about $2000K I think. I had the rig for three months with this done before I sold it. It was well worth the money, that fan and the noise was my biggest complaint about the VT365. It is amazing that they would not sound proof the cabs and do this electric fan clutch on rig that costs this much. It is not a cheap conversion and the parts will cost at least $1000+, it is not really a do it yourself kind of project. You have to have a special puller and take the front area apart. I felt I wanted the work done right and warranted. I also sound proofed the cab and engine compartment when I bought it.

I think the fan conversion is more important than the rear air suspension and well worth the money if you are going to keep the rig and use it a lot. Private message me and I can tell you more if you need.
