I also have a 99 sunvoyager, I installed a Vent Free Infrared Propane Heater.
It really works good. It doesn't use electric and it is really good on propane.
As a matter of fact I am having trouble with my furnance also. My burner stays on for about a minute then it cuts out, I am wondering if it is the burner itself or maybe just dirty.
