I would like have the direct hallway to the bedroom in my 06 Tourmaster t-36, (the 07's have them) instead of the jog around to get in since with the bedroom slide closed its impossible for anyone of size to get into the bedroom.

I think this can be easily modified with the addition of an accordian type bedroom door instead of the pocket door and cutting about 8 inches off of the hollow petition wall that is there now. I looked and its a small wire reroute and a little trim and new piece of tile to replace the gap.

Has anyone done anything like this? Do any of the 2006 Tourmaster owners have the same discomfort as I do with this?

I'm open to direction.

P.S. I don't want to do it myseld but I want to be able to explain to a professional what I want and have some knowledge as what to expect from the person doing the retrofit.
