I have to circle back around here because I was mistaken. What I thought said 15 GAL on the tank actually says 15G01, which must be some kind of mfg number I suppose. My tank's part number is VR182611, which spec's out 21 gallons. When I calculate the volume with actual measurements I come up slightly more, but basically confirm the 21 gallons. Anyway, coupled with the hot water tank I have 27 gallons. I have to think this is what was intended.
