You Want to be sure you are using things correctly to keep from damaging your new toy. You have 2 two systems most likely a 12v DC system and a 110v ac house current system. And possibly a generator. 1st rule NEVER run the gen when hooked to shore power ( plugged in)..if you have one! If you have specific questions I'd be glad to help!
