Interesting, My 2008 is wired and everything works, The prodigy was connected to existing wires and the main 12 volt hot in the center of the connector allows the inside trailer lights to work, For charging of the trailer /winch battery I just ran a wire from the main junction block. Un less it was a cost cutting move I can't imagine G.S. changing there wireing from the 2008 to the later model yrs even though at that point production was almost nile. As for the wire I do remember having to search for it within the main wireing loome under the rear of the coach. If it can't be located then a separate wire run from the fuse box should solve your problem.
