I did find some claims to being able to repair an existing panel and/or controller -- but a post in another RV forum said even that may not work out as some of the integrated circuits used i the controller are obsolete themselves...

Yep, I found the same. If anything, may have to rig up some basic switches to get them to work. I may give M&M a try who does that overhaul.
