We flat tow our Hyundai Tucson (manual transmission). Check with your dealer if your Santa Fe can be towed the same way. As an aside, the manual said "no", but there was a service memo from Hyundai that stated it was allowable with manual transmission and other provisions. If you find you need the memo # let me know.
