The first time I ran my hydraulic system I heard how the motor drew a lot of current. I now make it my practice to have the generator running when I get to the camp when leveling and running the rooms out. I run everything in and jacks up before pulling shore power. This insures full voltage to the motor and relays. The lower the voltage the more current is needed to do the same job.
