Sorry I missed this post. Gabby that I am I usually answer them if I have any knowledge.

Had a similar problem with a prior RV. The problem was improper venting of the stove. You should have your dealer check the stove's venting, and reasons why the vinyl is melting.

If your warranty is over, and you are on your own, then I would recommend having someone check the stove venting. If that is correct, then you have several options to cover the wall. I went to a local fabricator and had a sheet of stainless steel cut to fit the entire wall. Cost was less than $100. I used a good glue and screws in the corners. It solved the heat and clean up problems with one fix.

Another possible fix is to use ceramic tile to cover the wall. The home hardware stores (Home Depot or Lowes) have a load of information to share with you.
