did some more checking yesterday.... looks like it is not the relay. May actually just be weak batteries. Turns out I had checked the wrong batteries!!! The batteries up front by the generator power the ignition. Bank of 6 volt batteries. When checked they were low. Will be charging to determine if that is the problem....
