I have done the doors and "B" pillar behind the doors. There was zero sound deadening in these spaces and they are simply sheet metal. The insulation made a very noticeable difference and I plan on adding some more in the future. I have not tried the roof yet but based on what I saw in the other spaces I would not expect there to be much of anything in there.
