We have a 1996 GulfStream so something always needs fixing, replacement, or improvement. Yet we love our rig and have no intention of selling it. Apparently the current generation of new RV's coming out of Elkhart also need a lot of immediate fixing since there seems to be no quality control anymore.

Some fixes are really mods that make the RV more suited to our size and needs. Some are technology upgrades...think we are on our 4th GPS now.

Tires are usually ready for replacement on any used RV on the market because they age out long before the tread wears out. Preventing water leaks and resealing are usually needed every season on some part. The motorhome becomes a repair hobby in addition to the magic carpet travel machine.
