Regarding the spare tire question, I bought a very nice 3/4" torque wrench used on CL (that had recently been calibrated) for 300.00. I also bought a Milwaukee Fuel 3/4" cordless impact wrench and a set of 3/4" impact sockets. Last year I rubbed the sidewall of my tire on one of my rear tires while pulling into a tight RV space and the tire blew as a result. I was able to use the impact to pull the tire and rim, then rolled it into my TOAD (a 2017 Ram 2500 mega cab diesel) using (ironically) the same block wall I had rubbed it on. The other folks in the RV park were a little surprised that I not only had the tools, but could remove and install the tire and wheel myself. The impact was a lifesaver and the torque wrench came in very handy to make sure everything was correctly torqued down. Regarding the slides and other components, don't forget to check fuses and carry a few extras.
