What size wheels do you have? In my research, I found that the wheels 22" and up require 500 ft lbs of torque, but the ones under 22" only require 150 lbs. Unfortunately, mine (according to the manual) requires 500 ft lbs (22.5 x 7.5 Alcoas). So far, I haven't found a mechanic that even checks the torque, they slap them on there with an impact as tight as possible and call it good. However, that concerns me, as torque can often stretch the threads to the point of stripping.
