The little "hole" you have is pretty normal for an access to things like the pump. You can pull the entire panel (with trim pieces) off the front if your desire. Reattach with a pin type (small brad) nail gun. I see PEX connections and maybe a suction hose used to winterize the unit. Is it a loose PEX crimp you are dealing with? They can be tightened (crimped more) if leaking.
