There are 2 main types of materials used for RV roofs. EDOM is most common. TPO is the other type. Google "what kind of rv roof do I have" and they will take you step by step to determine what your roof is made of. As far as sealant used, you will get numerous one that people have used over the years. Some good, some not so good. All are expensive, but worth it. I used Dicor cool seal with great results. No primer needed. I will use it again when I get to it.
