tperk,

I have this swing down hardware and folding leg on the table in my 15 year old inexpensive travel trailer that I use for boon-dock camping and hunting. It is functional, but not all that sturdy-- and the leg always seems to be in the way getting into and out of the dinette benches. You can most likely find this table/hardware combination on most small travel trailers on today's dealer lots, so go into one and operate it first to determine if it actually is an improvement over what you have for both seating and for converting to sleep area. The advantage is no loose parts -- but if you have a window at your dinette that is at or just below table height, you might not like the way the table bears against the wall/window framing in that area.
