So thanks for all of your responses the fact of the matter is I dont know anything about this thing this is the first trailer I have owned and after I left the dealer with the trailer I assumed the guy who set up the trailer new what was safe however after thinking about it and looking on the web I determined he was just tired of me complaining and wanted me out. The guy hooked up the trailer to my car and we drove for about 10 minutes and he was cranking on the prodigy thing and we could smell something burning he turned around to dealership and said there just drive it around and it will work. I have decided to take it to another place have them take the brakes apart and clean them and make sure they are working. I honestly dont know what went wrong but in my opinion when I buy a brand new trailer for 35k I shouldnt have to worry if my brakes work PERIOD.
