Default Slide out control

Hello Folks, need some help on my 2008 Supernova 6400 Gulfstream. I tried doing a manual reset on my family room slide but all that happened was it went out about a foot and I started smelling electrical smells from the slide out control box 140-1233. Now this isn’t rocket science but I think I blew my controller. I checked the fuses and they were all good. Is this control box obsolete and has it been replaced with a new version? I can’t find one anywhere online....I hate paying a repair shop for they will nickel dime the hell out of us. Anyways, it’ll probably sit awhile until I get tired of scratching my head and other body parts......HELP!!!!

Thanks my friend. It is an obsolete box. To replace it I’d have to replace the whole slide out system, roughly $3000 just in parts. I found this out by the website you led me to....so thanks for that. They did say they could send mine out and get it repaired. Cost up to $800....They say that the second happiest day of you life is when you buy a boat and the 1st happiest day of your life is when you sell it.....I’m gonna to beg to differ, replacing the word boat with RV..... thanks again....

Unless you can find one in an RV Salvage Yard? Or open yours up and DIY? or send in Control for Written Repair Estimate by Tech expert? (Can some repairs be $100-$300, depending on problem, or flat rate only?) If you can still find a local TV/ Computer repair shop (????), would they be willing to look and give opinion? There are prob a few options I did not explore, but more ideas might develop if you start making phone calls that cost $0? (Make list of questions?) Might even be some DIY possibilities?

Can you identify anything that may have burned up? Like transistors or just wiring, chip?
