Default Drivers side door mystery switch

Gulfstream Yellowstone 5291 2008.
Does anyone know the purpose of the switch, above the mirror adjust switch, on the drivers side door of our motorhome?
Thanks in advance.

on my 2007 Gulfstream Yellowstone 8386, that is the button for the heated mirrors. The light by the switch comes on but I don't think it has ever worked in my case.

I have one also on my rig.....never used it.....but going back into a lot of years of memory, it has something to do with jump starting the generator with the engine OR jump starting when the inside coach battery is low, not sure which one it is. Good luck tho....

Default Thanks

Hi, we have that switch on the panel behind the drivers ahead. Have used it several times, great feature. Think the one on the door is heated mirrors. Thanks. For your comment

Heated mirror is an optional addition. I had that option, and the switch works. I see snow melting on the side mirror.

May be they always leave the switch even if the unit does not have heater mirror option?

It's for the heated mirror option.
