Hello Tim
I owne a 2018 Ameri-Lite 199DD, it's similar, but having 2 kids, a got 2 bunks on the back side.
I did few changes on my trailer. One that you could be interested is on the front of the unit. The small shelf above the bed is ridiculus. Have a look of what I did.
Enjoy your trailer

That looks really nice! How much time did it take you to build the cabinet? I might give this a try!

Hi Tim

I'm glad you like it! It took me a weekend to do it.

I used 2x2 for framing and then the top of the actuel shelf was used to extend the bottom part.

For the finished surface, (around the doors) I dismounted the settee on the front the bed to take a piece with a finish surface. I used a diffirent thin ply to replace it.

I called my dealer to have the same cabinets doors, but they were too expensive for me.
I found 2 cabinet doors at IKEA and stuck two pieces of the wall that I took behind the other settee so they match with the wall decor.

Really useful for storing clothes.

I invite you to click on the Gulf Stream Photos tab, I posted other changes that I did.
If you have more questions, do not hesitate, I could send you more pictures if you need.

Hi Tim,
I also recently got a 199RK. Has been enjoyable but did have to caulk in a piece of trim to keep shower from leaking.
