Default Television Booster Box

On my coach where all the controls are for television I have a booster that is held by a couple of screws with a place to connect a television wire. Now what I want to know is what is behind that booster plug. Does the wire from the rear television hook up to that booster in the back and to the crank up antenna wire in the front or how does that work. I have my front TV on satelite, but I want the rear hook up to the crank type antenna to get the local channels when I am out of the spot zone. I would like some info if you guy can help I sure would appreciate it.
I got rid of the selector box and I also got rid of the vcr, I just could never get it wired right, so I eliminated them.
