Default Rv awning

Hello everybody,
I own a 2018 189dd amerite
I'm curious to know because I've seen it done at my dealership and others have done this on their campers.
Obviously when it rains we roll up our awning
But there are times we forget some water accumulates or when we wash it ,there's a way with the arm of the awning that you can kind of tilt it and all the water drains from the tilting
I have no idea how this is performed any ideas or suggestions
Thank you

Depending on what style you have, simply raise one side higher than the other. Make sure the lower side encourages the water to run away from the camper...

I assume it is an electric awning, and if so, you gently pull down on the arm at the middle joint. I can't remember if you can pull either side or just one side. If it is a manual awning, just pull one of the side extensions in several notches until you get the desired run off.
