Default Dash A/C Heat

I'm have a problem with my dash heat-A/C-defrost blower.

When I first start the rig, everything is fine. Then after a while, I notice the blower fan is barely moving. I turn the speed switch and it doesn't change. I turn the selector switch from heat to A/C to defrost to vent, and no change.

Any ideas before I have to take it to a mechanic?

I have no idea about the fan, but wanted to let you know that I viewed your blog and enjoyed that as we have visited a lot of the same places.
Sorry I cannot support you as a Steelers fan being from North Eastern Ohio though, Go Browns!

Thanks Holmesaw,

Went right by your location a few weeks ago on the ride to Michigan. I understand about the Browns thing. Not to worry, most of us transferred our dislike for the Brownies to the Ravens when they packed up in the middle of the night and moved to Baltimore.

We're actually happy the "Turnpike" rivalry is alive again.

If you can get to the fan motor, try putting a couple of drops of oil on the motor shafts. Might be gummed up.
