Default Fluid for Dewald Hydraulic

Hi,

I have a 2002 Sun Voyager with a Dewald Hydraulic system for the jacks and slides. Need to add fluid to the reservoir tank and the manual says either ATF or hydraulic fluid depending on what Gulfstream put in it. Fluid is violet in color so I am assuming hydraulic fluid but does anyone know the type, brand, weight, etc. I did some research and came up with Castrol super blue but I don't know which one is required.
Thx

Default Blue (winter) hydraulic fluid

Yes, ended up using snow plow hydraulic fluid I did that because it's works at a lower temperature than normal hydraulic fluid and I'm up in Michigan. Ended up going to Napa Auto Parts and buying a quart of the following part number - BUY 1307005. Snowplow Hydraulic Fluid - Blue Buyers Products. Fix my issue of the one slide out not retracting all the time and no issues since adding it $14 a quart

No issues running Dexron 3 Mercon ATF in my Dewald system. Keeps fluid the same as my MH 3000 transmission.
There is or was a small company in the Midwest that can fix the controller board.
The motor pump is identical to a Mercury marine trim tilt pump for outboards, don't get ripped off, the pump and motor is under a hundred on Ebay.

If anyone really needs it I might can find the company that repaired my control board. The Dewald is really pretty easy to fix.

Just a heads up! Make sure the slides and or Jack's are in and or up completely! Some have checked the level with the slides in the out position and WILL cause a problem the system will be over full at that point and could cause damage or make a huge mess.. dextron or equivalent hydraulic fluid should be adequate for most slide or leveling systems as mentioned.

Just FYI MAG 1 AW ISO 46 seems to work in my 2004 G7 Friendship with the Dewald Hydraulic system. The gallon container only cost me $16 from a local hydraulic supply shop --part #00466 and its even made in the USA
