Default 08 Yellowstone Rear slide works intermittently

The rear slide on my 08 Class C sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I can push the switch and it works, the next time nothing or maybe I can push it 3-4 time and then it works. I have checked the switch and it works fine. Sometimes I can hear a click in the rear which I believe is the slides motor brake. I suspect there may be a bad solenoid but do not know where it might be. Can anyone help?

MY 99 HAS Dewald HYDRAULIC slides, that would stick on, and trip 12v breaker under step. I replaced both PUMP SOLENOIDS on the pump tray, and it cured issue. I used $9 AMAZON small engine parts instead of $45-$85 Dewald/ LCI parts, works great, cured issues.

Have you tried checking the battery voltage when you push the slideout button? That may explain the intermittent nature of the problem. I always either have my main engine running or shore power connected when I'm extending or retracting my slide. It's a big load. A secondary reason for doing this is that if your voltage is low, the circuit will try to increase amps to compensate. This has the potential to damage your slide motor.

Thanks guys but not resolved as yet. First, slides are electric not hydraulic. Batteries are fully charged (solar) at 14+ volts. Have tried starting vehicle and shore power with no success. In my mind, and I could be wrong-just ask my wife, it act like a solenoid but have not been able to locate.
