Cool Foggy headlights

Headlights on my 2003 BT are almost completely fogged up. Have tried most of the usual on line stuff. Any thing that really works?

The best thing about the BT is it's on a ford e-350 or 450 You can get parts anywhere.the light pops out super easy. You can even find videos on y-tube showing you how to do it. Buy some new ones for about $30 dollars $20 more gets the side lights too. and while you have it open time to change the old bulb. https://www.amazon.com/Evan-Fischer-..._t1_B008H7CWRM

While you've got your tool box out you can replace the dome lights to led. they put out a lot less heat and look very nice.

Default Foggy

Actually, my BT is mounted on a Chevy 3500 Express (which I prefer) and the headlights can only be replaced as an assembly. Factory price apprx. 150.00 ea. I did find a pair on ebay for much less.

3m makes a headlight kit that attaches to your drill(easy but replacement pads can be costly). Personally I use sanding sponges myself and a good u/v protect clear coat after to insure my work lasts more then the summer.

Default It’s Possible to clean them!!!

We just purchased a 2007 Yellowstone Country Club and the headlights were VERY foggy, not to mention it needed a good wash & wax. We had a local auto detail company come out and they made our headlights look like they were BRAND NEW. They charged $80 for the headlight restoration which I feel was well worth it. I have attached before and after shots. We are in the Seattle/Tacoma area and would highly recommend this company. http://advancedmobileautospa.com/
We also replaced our 5 interior dome lights and they are night and day difference.. we used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DLD1GLP..._kk6zFbJZG6818

Before you spend a ton of money try the following.....
Get out your bottle of insect repellent (OFF Deep Woods is my favorite) and a paper towel. Spray a liberal amount on the towel and wet the headlight lens thoroughly, being careful not to get it on your paint. Rub the lens with the wet towel until the yellow haze is removed. You may need to follow up with additional spray on stubborn spots, but the result is AMAZING!!!
