SN generator
Hope this helps someone in the future… The generator was leaking antifreeze, so I needed to drop it and take it apart to find the leak. I made a cradle that attached to a floor jack to support the generator to let it down. The front bar in the generator compartment that the door latches to is removable, so the generator only needs to be lowered a few inches. There is enough slack in the high voltage side wiring to allow it to lower completely and roll out from underneath the MH. Remove the 4 bolts and it comes right out, one of the easier jobs I had to do on this thing. The MH was resting on its tires, not the levelers. The fuel lines and 12V starting circuit needs to be disconnected, along with the generator remote control.
It turned out the plastic reservoir tank was leaking, which was a relief. Apparently, this is a common problem. I got a replacement tank from Jacks Small Engines. It can be replaced without dropping the generator, but I also wanted to replace the fan belt and check things out while we were in there. Note the nice wiring job, from GS -- just pulled the harness out and left the split loom in the generator. Fixed that too.
