Default Equalizer Jack Control Keypad

The keypad on my 2005 Endura 6340 has finally given up. Does anyone have a diagram or pictures of how they put in new switches? I've Googled and have done some reading but I don't like electrical work. Thanks for the help in advance. The keypad is an Equalizer #1702 for manual jacks.

Default Equalizer Jack Control Keypad

This file may help. I think I found it on the Equalizer website some time ago. It lists the pinouts for the 1702 Control board. You might still be able to find a used 1702 online...

Many years ago, Ron Hall posted the wiring diagram for switches to replace the 1702 on the SuperC RV Group. Search for "Equalizer 1702 Control Panel"

Hope this helps.

Ron

Jeff,
Iíve done the go around the Equlizer Jack control, with help from Donald Gryder. So I have emailed Don asking him if I can share his contact information with you.
I donít think there will be an issue with that.
I sent him this note along with your issue.
I have built the new switch control panel and it works great. Takes a little getting use to so I made stickers for each switch, to make sure I have them in the correct position.
There is no longer a warning that a jack is down before you drive away. I get out and kneel down an check to make sure they are up before moving.

Jeff,
Don, got back to me very quickly. If you email me at the address in my first post, Don said I could forward his email address with you.

Default Equalizer panel

HI all,

Is there any chance that you could post the instructions to install the switches back to this forum? It would be very helpful to have this info for the day when my panel decides to stop working.

My friend Don has pictures and directions on how to make this work for you.
It works great for me. Although it takes a little getting use to
Don gave me the authority to post his email address so you can contact him directly.

He will gladly share the information

Hello Mike,

I saw your post from a couple of years ago and I was going to text you for information on how to do new switches. My old keypad is in a computer/device fix-it place to see what they can do. It's been a week so far. Thanks for the email to Mr. Gryder.

Jeff,
Good luck!
I want that route too! Spent the money with no success! Total waste of time..
Keep Don’s information.
By chance if they really Fixit give me the name and address of your computer company. I still have my old control box, wouldn’t mind sending mine to them. Maybe you could introduce me and my method of communication.
Thanking you in advance,

Mike,

Got the keypad back yesterday. They couldn't fix it so it's time to make my own switchboard. Thanks for your help.

BTW my stem still has a mind of its own!

Thanks Jeff,
Remember this is why we are here, it’s to help fellow Gulfstream owners. Although we’re more experienced with the Endura 6340 Super “C” Coaches. Some or our experiences do transfer to outer brands and makes of RV’s
