Default AC 2005 Sun Voyager

Today the bedroom AC on our 2005 Sun Voyager started turning on by itself. Scared the crap out of my hubs. There isn't really an off switch. You just adjust the temp so it won't come on. Hubs adjusted the temp so it shouldn't come on but it still keeps coming on! He's looking through all the manuals we have but it's freaking me out so I thought I'd post to see if anyone has had this issue.

Any insight or pointers etc would be much appreciated! TYIA

Should be a COOL-OFF-HEAT Switch?

Fan switches are HIGH/LOW and AUTO/ON

Yeah it was coming on even with the switch on off. Hubs pulled the breaker to stop it.

Replace the rear air conditioner thermostat. Problem solved.
Look online, they are not very expensive
