Default Knock Sensor woes

Hello All, I changed my 4th knock sensor on the passenger side of my 8.1 Chevy Workhorse. Each time I try to figure out why my engine light comes on and I receive a code indicating a bad sensor. I’ve changed the MAF, spark plugs, wires, built a heat shield that was missing, changed the O2 sensors, checked for exhaust back pressure, checked fuel trims….(ScanGuagelll)…. Hopefully the fourth knock sensor will last… I’m stumped…any help out there???… Rob in Cali…Thanks in advance…👍🏼👍🏼

Default Chevy 8.1

My engine light came on because of a bad cam sensor. Apparently there are 3, hard to get at, medium hard and easy. Mine was medium hard and cost me $500 to fix. This was several years ago.
I used the computer code reader from AutoZone, but it was not as detailed as the one the mechanic had.
