The noise from AC is about 65 db. Is this expected? Or may be they have poor insulation that is letting the noise from the roof to the inside of the unit?

So many possibilities. Your fan motor could be dying which could theoretically be the cause of both. For example, my Dometic Penguin II bought and installed last year already has a failing motor. The fan shuts down when it hits a thermal threshold (they're thermally protected) on hot days and when it was REALLY hot, tripped the dedicated 30A breaker it was on.
Not sure about your setup but a noisy fan motor and an unexplained trip at your inverter may indicate a pending failure. Let us know if stays on, changes sound pitch, or fails again.
